International Projects – Chair: Tom Signorello
Charge: The committee will work with District 6970 and clubs within the district and other outside partners to investigate and implement projects in foreign countries. The committee may want to work with The Rotary Foundation Committee to develop these projects and to request matching grants and/or other funding if needed.
- Water Projects – Chair: Patrick Victor
Continue and remain consistent with the ideals of Rotary International, specifically the positive affect of clean water and sanitation on the health of individuals
2 The Rotary Foundation – Chair: Lee Hunter
Charge: This is the 100th Anniversary year for the Rotary Foundation (TRF) and the District has set a goal of 100% Paul Harris fellows for all clubs. We can accomplish this using a “matching points” offer to members having them donate new funds and we will use club points to “match” their gift up to a maximum of $500 for each PH award they give. The committee will educate members on the Annual Programs Fund, Permanent Fund and the great projects locally and around the world funded by TRF grants. This can be accomplished by scheduling a program during Foundation month (Nov) and asking members to give brief comments from the podium once a month.
